Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Albatross Way on a daily basis.
- Assist with the production of the monthly management accounts for the group, including COS reconciliations to in-house booking systems and Sage 200, prepayments, accruals, intercompany reconciliations and other adhoc tasks.
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
- Enter staff expenses, monthly credit and debit cards, ensuring timely payments are made where applicable.
- Complete quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Complete quarterly VAT returns for specified companies.
- Assist in the production of group budgets and forecasts.
- Assist in preparation of the year-end statutory accounts on behalf of specified Group businesses.
- Ongoing review of Accounts Department’s processes and systems and the implementation of changes to improve these where considered appropriate.
- Ensure procedures are followed and documented at all times.

Key Skills
- Maintain excellent professional relationships with internal & external clients and suppliers and is an excellent communicator.
- Highly numerate, with excellent attention to detail.
- IT literate including Microsoft Word, Excel, (including Vlookups and pivot tables) in-house Booking Systems and Sage 200
- AAT qualified or similar.
- Maintain a positive mind-set in all situations, always looking for the win-win outcome

- Due to the nature of the role’s requirements, number of errors and the financial and reputational implication of these errors need to be minimal.
