Position: Sales Focused Tour Coordinator

Package:

Brief description of the role:
Based at our head office in Larkfield, the role of the Sales Focused Tour Coordinator is to continually build and improve client relationships (including visits when required) and ensure that the client receives individual and respectful attention regarding any queries.
Your duties will include:
- Provide quoting, confirming and research support to the Albatross Travel Account Managers and be responsible for all allocated quotes within the individual client base.
- Alerting relevant Account Manager immediately, when a complaint/out-booking arises.
- Loading information onto TIF and keeping up to date where necessary.
- Dealing with client/supplier queries and requests in relation to individual quotes.
- Taking direction and instruction from each Account Manager.
- Keeping clients & area reservations coordinators updated with all aspects of the quote.
- Ensuring that the quote and tour screens are kept completely up to date, with relevant information.
- Maintaining client database ensuring all information is kept up to date.
- Checking and actioning all Intranet links (product warnings) relating to quotes.
- Continually building and improving core product knowledge, including attending contracting trips and familiarisation events, when required.
- Continually building client relationships by attending client visits with the account manager wherever possible.
- To contact clients via telephone whenever possible.
- Negotiating with clients and suppliers to maintain and improve GTP.
- To maintain a clean and orderly workspace and workplace
- Complete actions from Support business plan as necessary
- Any other functions the company requires
Essential Requirements:
- Must be able to work well on own initiative and within the team
- Organisation skills are essential as well as an ability to prioritise workload
- Effective communication skills (internal and external)
- Strong use of English grammar (written and spoken)
- Friendly and professional telephone manner
- Be able to work under pressure and to deadlines

Hours of work Mon – Fri 9.00 – 17.00 although additional hours will be required, especially at peak times.
