We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Controller to join our dynamic Team. This position is a great opportunity for a Purchase Ledger clerk with a track record of effective workload management and communication.

You will be responsible for processing suppliers’ invoices that relate to tours on our booking system. These must be posted to Sage and payments must be made in a timely manner, as advised by managers.
Working as part of a team, you’ll need to demonstrate the ability to contribute to a team environment as well as using your own initiative to manage your own workload.

Communicating with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders, including internal staff, is a critical part of the role, thus ensuring excellent working relationships with all of our stakeholders and maintaining a high level of confidentiality and integrity.

Some of your responsibilities will include: Processing supplier invoices for all companies by reconciling to in-house Booking System and Sage; Processing and paying overhead invoices; Liaise with other departments and suppliers to resolve queries; Produce weekly sterling and Euro payment runs, ensuring sufficient funds in bank accounts; Enter cheques, transfers and internet payments and allocate manual payments; Reconciliation of supplier statements;
Reconciling ferry statements to the in-house Booking System; Process credit applications; Quarterly reconciliation of Aged creditors; Quarterly reconciliation of Nominal Ledger; Processing and paying all London tickets in a timely manner, except See tickets; Ensure procedures are followed and documented at all times
