Circa. £18,500, 21 days Holiday pa (plus 3 days office closure and a day off for your Birthday each year), Pension, Childcare Vouchers, Employee Assistant Line, Travel concessions and more.
The Role:
Based at our head office in Larkfield, as Tour Coordinator you will ensure the successful operation of all Albatross Europa tours, with focus on excellent customer service and maximising our commercial position.
You will operate all tours within your customer base, in line with company procedures. This includes booking all services, as per customer contract, once tour is confirmed, arranging advance deposit payments agreed at sales stage and issuing deposit invoices to customer (where necessary), in line with payment terms.
You will obtain accurate rooming lists and regular updates from the customers, ensuring that all tour/supplier deadlines are met as per the booking system and all bookings are made correctly. You will also negotiate with suppliers and customers to maintain and improve margins, and you will prepare vouchers ready for the travel pack in line with procedure deadlines.
You will also commit to the company’s guaranteed service levels and response times, and work closely with the sales team to ensure all issues are dealt with swiftly and professionally.
You will assist the Europa team with production of marketing material and trade show attendance, the sales team with quotes and client requests.
Please note that this role also requires inclusion on the Europa Out of Hours phone rota.
Hours of work Mon – Fri 9.00 – 17.00 although additional hours will be required, especially at peak times.
Essential Requirements:
- Fluent oral and written German
- Able to work well on own initiative and within the team
- Well organised and an ability to prioritise workload
- A high degree of written and spoken English & German
- Effective communication skills with customers (internal and external)
- Friendly and professional telephone manner
- Be able to work under pressure
- Be sensitive to client/supplier needs (internal and external)
